Deep Hole Boring

Darron possess a range of deep hole boring machines capable of boring internal diameters from 19mm (3/4”) up to 200mm (7.875”).

Darron SBO's largest machine is able to bore 50mm to 140mm through a 12m length (in one pass) followed by c/boring up to 200mm eliminating mismatch problems. The machines are mostly CNC controlled to ensure the highest quality standards, special operations such as pull boring, special profiling, etc. are also available.

Darron also have conventional counter boring facilities capable of opening holes out to 380mm (15”) over a length of 4.8m (16').

Skiving operations can be performed where your needs are for a tighter tolerance or enhanced surface finish requirements

Most materials can be machined and we have years of experience in machining carbon, alloy, stainless, duplex, inconel and titanium grades, to name a few.
