Darron SBO Roller Reamers are supplied as both sealed bearing and non-sealed bearing tools

The DRS Series is the sealed bearing option. The design is is to give maximum rotating hours downhole with minimum rig time in change overs of assemblies. It is achieved by a rugged but simple construction techniques and the addition of a lubricated and sealed syatem that is rechargeable. A complete weld free body ensures uniformity of strength and hardfacing is applied on both leading and trailing edges to reduce wear. Flutes are milled onto the body to allow maximum fluid circulation. The tool is available in a 3 point or 6 point option and is supplied with Type A (soft), Type B (medium/hard) or Type C (hard) cutter assemblies.

Our DR non-sealed Roller Reamers offer a reduced cost option to the sealed bearing type and are a simple design to ensure assemby/disassembly procedures are easily completed on the rig site.
